Landscape Services......
Designing and making a new garden can be an exciting process. We will discuss your requirements and work with you to create a design for the garden you want, using our knowledge and expertise to provide a functional and beautiful space with the appropriate plants for your situation.
Once the design is agreed we can draw up a planting plan for the whole area. The plan can use one of three types of planting;
1) Use large size plants to fill in the garden to its maximum capacity straight away, giving you an instant, complete garden all at once. This option is initially more expensive and some plants may need thinning out over time as they grow on.
2) Use well established but smaller sized plants that will grow in over time to achieve the overall effect specified in the design. This is a more cost effective option.
3) Use a combination of small and large plants to balance the cost and the overall effect. This option gives you the best of both worlds, keeping costs down while still giving you an established look.
Hard landscaping begins first, for example; creating new raised beds, laying pathways, gravel areas or decking etc. once all this structure is in place we can prepare the areas ready for planting with compost and fertilisers.
Finally the plants go in! This is the exciting part when your garden starts to come alive. Plants will be pruned, trimmed or trained in to their final positions and will just need plenty of watering and sunshine to keep them happy.
It is worth remembering that once the planting is complete, the garden will need looking after to either train the growing plants in to their final design or to maintain their current shape. To help you with this we can give you a maintenance plan listing all the jobs you need to do to each specific plant to keep them in tip top shape, or if you prefer, we can provide a regular maintenance service for you.
You will be given an initial estimate for this service but it may end up being less or more depending on market prices of plants and materials along with any unforseen set backs that might occur to change the plans or timings ie; discovering drains/cables/concrete etc.
Spread the cost.................
It's easy to put off your garden make-over because of the large outlay all in one go but don't worry, you don't need to get it all done at once.
We can do your design and work out the estimate and from there we can set out whatever work schedule suits you best. The complete service can be broken down in to stages: Design, Planting Plan, Hard Landscaping, Planting, Maintenance.
Each stage can be priced and provided seperately so a contract of work can be produced from as little as £100 worth of work a week for as long as it takes, right up to full payment and the whole job completed at once.
